Translation:

We will surely put you to trial by involving you in fear and hunger and by causing loss of property, life and earnings. And give good tidings to those who remain steadfast in these trials:

Translation:

Allah: the Everlasting, the Sustainer of the whole Universe; there is no god but He. He does neither slumber nor sleep. Whatsoever is in the heavens and in the earth is His.280 Who is there that can intercede with Him except by His own permission.? He knows what is before the people and also what is hidden from them. And they cannot comprehend anything of His knowledge save whatever He Himself pleases to reveal. His Kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth and the guarding of these does not weary Him. He alone is the Supreme and the Exalted.

Translit: Allahu laA ilaha illa huwa alhayyu alqayyoomu la takhuthuhu sinatun wa laA nawmun lahu ma fee alssamawati wa maA fee alardi man tha allathee yashfaAAu AAindahu illa biithnihi yaAAlamu ma bayna aydeehim wa maA khalfahum wa laA yuheetoona bishayin min AAilmihi illa bima shaa wasiAAa kursiyyuhu alssamawati waalarda wa laA yaooduhu hifthuhuma wa huwa alAAaliyyu alAAatheemu

Just imagine how they will fare, when We shall bring forward a witness from every community and raise you (O Muhammad) as a witness in regard to these people.

Translit: Fakayfa itha jina min kulli ommatin bishaheedin wajina bika AAala haolai shaheedan

Translation:

Then say, "Should I inform you of those, who will have even worse recompense from Allah than the transgressors?" They are those whom Allah has cursed; who have been under His wrath; some of whom were turned into apes and swine; who worshiped taghut; those are the people who are in a far worse plight and who have turned farthest away from the Right Way."

Translit: Qul hal onabbiokum bisharrin min thalika mathoobatan AAinda Allahi man laAAanahu Allahu waghadiba AAalayhi wajaAAala minhumu alqiradata waalkhanazeera waAAabada alttaghooti olaika sharrun makanan waadallu AAan sawai alssabeeli

Translation:

O Believers, Allah will put you to a hard trial by that game which will come within the very reach of your hands or lances, in order to see who fears Him even though He is invisible: there shall, therefore, be a painful punishment for those who transgress the limits after this warning.

Translit: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo layabluwannakumu Allahu bishayin mina alssaydi tanaluhu aydeekum warimahukum liyaAAlama Allahu man yakhafuhu bialghaybi famani iAAtada baAAda thalika falahu AAathabun aleemun

Translation:

To invoke Him alone is the right thing. As regards the other deities whom they invoke apart from Him, they cannot give any answer to their prayers. It is as if a man were to stretch his hands towards water and ask it to come to his mouth, when it cannot reach his mouth in this way; likewise the prayers of the disbelievers are nothing but aimless efforts.

Translit: Lahu daAAwatu alhaqqi waallatheena yadAAoona min doonihi la yastajeeboona lahum bishayin illa kabasiti kaffayhi ila almai liyablugha fahu wama huwa bibalighihi wama duAAao alkafireena illa fee dalalin

They carry your burdens to far-off lands, which you could not reach without painful toil. Indeed your Lord is All-Compassionate and All-Merciful.

Translit: Watahmilu athqalakum ila baladin lam takoonoo baligheehi illa bishiqqi alanfusi inna rabbakum laraoofun raheemun

Translation:

And when Our clear Revelations are recited to them, you perceive signs of disdain in the faces of the disbelievers as though they were going to assault those who recite Our Revelations to them. Say to them, "May I inform you of a thing worse than this? It is the Fire which Allah has promised for those who reject the Truth; and what an evil abode it is!"

Translit: Waitha tutla AAalayhim ayatuna bayyinatin taAArifu fee wujoohi allatheena kafaroo almunkara yakadoona yastoona biallatheena yatloona AAalayhim ayatina qul afaonabbiokum bisharrin min thalikum alnnaru waAAadaha Allahu allatheena kafaroo wabisa almaseeru

Moses said, "Even if I bring forth a convincing thing?"

Translation:

none of those whom they have set up as associates (with Allah) will intercede for them, and they will even disown their associates.

Translit: Walam yakun lahum min shurakaihim shufaAAao wakanoo bishurakaihim kafireena

If you call them, they cannot hear your prayers, and if they hear, they cannot answer you, and on the Day of Resurrection they will disown your shirk. None can inform you of the truth except the One Who is All-Aware.

Translit: In tadAAoohum la yasmaAAoo duAAaakum walaw samiAAoo ma istajaboo lakum wayawma alqiyamati yakfuroona bishirkikum wala yunabbioka mithlu khabeerin

and Allah shall judge with full justice. As for those whom they (the mushriks) invoke instead of Allah, they shall judge nothing. Indeed, Allah alone hears everything and sees everything.
